About Us
In 1997 our founder, Dr. Charles Smith, decided it was time to change the pattern of healthcare and empower patients to take more control of their health. Instead of lining up patients for the convenience of the physician, Dr. Smith decided to line up physicians for the convenience of the patient. Thus began eDocAmerica.
With eDocAmerica, participants receive the confidential decision support they need to effectively execute critical health decisions, avoid unnecessary office visits, and save time and money. eDocAmerica is a privately held company that originated through the BioVentures business incubator at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science.
